About Animalverse
Animalverse is an independent website about how cats use space. Not cat care in general — specifically territory, height, routes and the signals a cat gives while it negotiates all three.
Why this angle
Most conflict between cats, and most of what owners call bad behaviour, is a problem of layout rather than personality. A cat that has no second exit from a perch, or that has to pass another cat to reach a litter tray, behaves differently from the same cat in a house arranged well. That is the subject of this site.
What this site covers
Feline body language, vertical space and territory, and the hunting sequence that explains play. We do not publish on nutrition, breed selection or medical topics.
Who writes here
All articles are written and edited in-house by the Animalverse editorial team. We are not veterinarians, and each page says so. Our work is reading the published guidance of feline welfare and veterinary organisations and turning it into something an owner can rearrange a room with.
Accuracy
Every article names the organisations behind it and links to them. Corrections are welcome and handled openly — see the editorial policy.
